Aisha Imam OMOLOSO is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences (FCIS), University of Ilorin. She has a PhD in Communication from the Universiti Utara Malaysia, M.Sc. Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, PGDE from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and B.A. in Mass Communication from Bayero University Kano.
She has served as Academic Level Adviser, Student Staff Adviser, Chairman Mass Communication Department Welfare Committee, and Member of various Committees at the Faculty and Department. She is currently a Departmental SIWES Coordinator and FCIS Representative at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
Her research interests include Development Communication, Audience Research, Media Production, and Media Effects. She has authored several articles in local and international outlets, and reviewed papers for journals. Dr. Omoloso is a member of, the Association of Communication Scholars and Practitioners of Nigeria, Association of Academic Qualitative Research Like minds (AAQREL) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
