Lambe Kayode Mustapha is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Communication from International Islamic University (IIUM) Malaysia.
He was a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow at the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and is currently a Scientific Advisor and a member of the Consultant Team with the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Philology, Rudn University, Moscow, Russia. His research interests include Political Communication, Media Effects Research as well as New and Social Media Studies.
He has previously served in the university in several capacities as Head of Department, Level Adviser, Departmental Examination Officer, Staff Adviser, Postgraduate Coordinator, Chairman of the Certificate Screening Committee, and Examination Commissioner (Faculty of Management Sciences). He is currently an FCIS Representative at the University Senate.
