BSc Mass Communication
A. UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates must obtain at least credit pass in FIVE subjects at S.S.C.E.O/Level or approved equivalent, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Literature in English
- Any other Two subjects; one from Arts and the other from Social Sciences.
UTME subjects should include:
- Literature in English
- Either IRK/CRK, History, Yoruba
- One subject from Social Sciences like Government, Economics or Geography.
B. DIRECT ENTRY Admission Requirements
- For Direct entry, candidates must possess Ordinary Diploma (at Upper Credit Level) in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, in addition with satisfying the O/Level requirements as indicated in (A).
- JUPEB result or its equivalents with not less than 10 points from a combination of: English Language, English Literature and either of Yoruba, IRK/CRK, Government, Geography or Economics, are acceptable for Direct Entry.
Meanwhile, Candidates being admitted with JUPEB or its equivalents must also satisfy the O/Level requirements, especially obtaining at least a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics.
