Biography

Rasaq M. ADISA PhD is an Associate Professor of Mass Communication in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin. He holds a B.A Mass Comm (BUK), M.Sc. Mass Comm (Unilag) and PhD Communication (UUM, Malaysia). Adisa served as Course Material Writer for NOUN, Internal/External Examiner for PhD, Dept. of Educational Management, PG Coordinator, Dept. of Mass Communication, Unilorin, External Moderator Dept. of Mass Comm., Fed Poly Offa and Dept of Mass Comm, College Arabic and Legal Studies Ilorin. He was the Managing Editor of the Dept. of Mass Communication Journal, SIWES Coordinator, Dept. of Mass Comm. Unilorin. Nationally, Adisa served as JAMB Supervisor and Ward Collation Officer for INEC. At the international level, he is a Research Resource Person at the Norwegian Research Institute, Kenya. He has published in several reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 15 Masters dissertations and one Ph.D. thesis.
