Dr. Oba Abdulkadir Laaro

Dr. Oba Abdulkadir, LA’ARO, isa Senior Lecturer and former Postgraduate Programme Coordinator in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Ilorin Nigeria. He has several publications in journals, conference proceedings, and book chapter contributions. He has had training in curriculum design and delivery for distance learning and has been a resource person for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). At the professional practice level, Dr La’aro is currently a consultant to Gerin FM 95.5, a community radio, and a consultant to BizVoice, a magazine publication of the Kwara State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (KWACCIMA). He was the Secretary of the Unilorin Committee for the establishment of Unilorin 89.3fm and level adviser as well as student Association staff adviser for many sessions.
