On behalf of staff and students of Mass Communication Department, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, I cheerfully welcome all new students to the department. As our slogan implies, we stoically stand for the truth. In doing this, our programme is fashioned taking cognisance of the dynamic media ecology and the global youth of the century that places high premium on skills acquisition, knack to identify misleading information, proficiency in writing and speaking. The sustained cordial relationship that exists between staff and students is a tonic that has an enduring positive impact on students as evidenced in our products globally. All that we do is driven by our quest to effect a positive change. Thus, the conducive climate created in the department for teaching and learning process is what awaits new comers to grab.
